It's that simple and yet some complicated to the creative mind.
Here is an example: Jim has $1000 in the bank, he decides that he needs to go on a trip to Florida to sell his great idea to the large department store. The cost of the trip is going to be $2500 for flights, hotel and food. He has a lease payment due for $900 in two days and the lights are going off if he doesn't pay $100 in 24 hours, what does Jim do?
The logical left brainier sees this as a simple solution, pay the rent and lights. Very basic and simple.
If he is a right brainier he will convince himself the trip will land him a $50000 account and all will be fixed when he gets back and he hops on the plane.... You can project numbers all you want, you can prepare for that great sale that is going to happen because you made such a great presentation. A salesperson can sell himself of anything and a creative person sees every possible situation turning out positive. Nothing is real until it is.
